Download Problem?
The latest Adobe PDF reader weighs in at around 22 meg, so if you ain't got broadband it could be tricky.

A good alternative is the Foxit Reader which comes in at around 3.5 meg and is available from Foxit software .com.
Late Oct or early Nov?
Whichever month the newsletter is dated we have some good news items to share.

Just Jam?
No performance stress, no mics, no amps - just musical mayhem.

The first JAM was fun - about 10 of us with a variety of instruments having a go at anything we could think of, and drinks at special prices!

The original composers may not have recognised their songs but we enjoyed it and felt we were inventing a new sound - what more could you ask for? We thought we might call it Homemade Acoustic Mayhem.

So come down – maybe with a song or two that others might be able to join in, and we'll see what happens.

Harping On
Interested in harmonica - Brendan Power is coming back in January for Wanganui Summer School. An awesome chance to get some coaching from an internationally acclaimed performer. Good value and good fun if you're into harp’.
See bottom of the UCOL page.

Hope to see you all at the Jam
Regards
Vic
