An Evening for Emma
Saturday 7th August 2010 6-10pm in the Centennial Lounge, Te Rapa Racecourse The aim is to raise funds to send a very special girl to Mexico for medical treatment. Read more here. The Concert is a joint venture in conjunction with the Hamilton Blues, Jazz and Acoustic Music Clubs and EVERYONE involved is giving their time and talent FREE. This includes the venue, caterers, soundpeople, musicians, compere etc. What an awesome way to showcase some of the Waikato's wonderful talent and assist Emma in regaining her good health. Come along for a fantastic night of wonderful music, have a meal - make a night of it, brush the dust from those winter blues. See concert poster. HAMC is for people who enjoy performing and/or listening to live acoustic music. The club aims to provide a venue and opportunity for performers to show what they've achieved through hours of effort and practise. You can share your successes with a friendly appreciative audience. For those who prefer to listen - here's your chance to be a part of that, whilst listening and supporting a very varied group of live performers across many genres.
